The Faculty has opened an organisational website to deal with its multifarious teaching, research and service armamentaria and commitments. Its URL (address) is www.unijosmedicine.org

You will need to type in the hypertext initials which is http://  in order to enter the webpage. The web site is for staff and students and important students notices will always be placed on this page. Staff members will equally be notified by email in addition to the present on going telephone directory complilation. You can even end your email /telephone nos via this website. Try it!

Academic staff members can utilise the page to set questions of any type- essay MCQ, true-false, and even objective structured clinical assesments.(OSCE) The website is big as it is 1000MB. It can therefore take as many materials for teaching as possible. Teachers care encouraged to place information on the site for use by student and then provide the URL of such information. Every lecturer has a folder under his/her departmental folder on this site. In addition to the above, no one needs to come to the Deanery any longer for official or indeed personal business. Just send your comments or official documents (if possible of course) by electronic transfer through the webiste itself . You can even find out the Dean's activity on the site. Later a chatroom will be installed and also later a videoconferencing facility. We are in for exciting moments on this site and in the Faculty. Please enjoy yourself to the maximum and browse the site for yourself.
